Inlet Knight – Lo-Fi Girl

Lo-Fi Girl is the new album from Inlet Knight, out soon on Club Copy. It draws inspiration from late-night Pacific Northwest house and soft-focus electronics, and marks a new creative chapter shaped by growth, reflection, and renewed purpose. Inlet Knight also delivers the record as a full digital pre-order — files land when it drops.

It’s been a journey since Inlet Knight first captured attention with the lo-fi magic of early Club Copy sides, recorded in Cumberland, British Columbia — house music built close to home, often alone, often after midnight. The project has stepped into an entirely new season — deeper arrangements, warmer rooms, and the patience to let a loop breathe. Earlier this year, listeners revisited that start through Together, an EP that kept the same DIY spirit while opening the door wider.

Through it all, Inlet Knight has kept the same approach, writing and recording every note themselves, only now with a clearer sense of what the night is for. On Lo-Fi Girl, soft-focus house meets washed-out electronics and the melodic sensibility of records made for headphones and empty kitchens. A deep love for classic house and late-’90s / early-’00s club textures anchors the album, yet Inlet Knight filters those influences through a modern, coastal lens.

“House has become my favorite lane and greatest inspiration of all time,” Inlet Knight says. “I made this album for the version of me that first fell in love with music. It’s my full-circle moment — a sonic hat tip to my beginnings — as well as a nod to the records that left us with great music.”
